Prairie Sumac Curtain

Prairie Sumac is derived from a 1907 leaded glass window designed by Marion Mahony Griffin, the first licensed female architect in Illinois and colleague of Frank Lloyd Wright, this window treatment is a stylized version of the ubiquitous Mid-Western prairie plant. Taking its cue from Wright’s legendary Prairie School of architecture, the unique Prairie Sumac is decidedly American in stylistic influence and reflects the robust architecture of the Plains States. It is equally attractive whether in a humble bungalow or a grand estate. Prairie Sumac is designed for maximum privacy while allowing plenty of filtered light to flow through into the room.
