TAPC02 4 Buttress Vase

4 Buttress Vase 10.5" x 6"  View 6 Teco Colors

Each piece of Teco pottery is both useful and beautiful as a watertight vase or as the perfect accent piece. By blending Arts & Crafts and Mid-Century Modern aesthetics with natural, eco-friendly materials, this elegant shape honors the past while appealing to modern sensibilities. The original shape was sculpted by William D. Gates and was design number 444 in the Teco catalog.

Teco {an abbreviation of TErra COtta} art pottery was originally produced from 1899 through 1920 by the American Terra Cotta and Ceramics Company, located in Terra Cotta, Illinois. There are about 500 different Teco shapes, whose forms can be categorized as architectural, organic or classical.
